Meet the team
Founder / Principal
Jen Gannon is an idea girl, shoe lover and Founder, Principal and “Boss Lady” at Gannon Ross. Jen is an out of the closet Royalist who sat in the pouring rain just to catch a glimpse of Duchess Kate on her visit to Vancouver. She enjoys skiing (just like the royals!), paddle boarding and travelling with her husband and daughter. She is a passionate runner which helps keep her fit and ready to keep up with her busy family. While studying history at the University of Western Ontario, a friend commented that her dorm room was the nicest of anyone on campus and she should perhaps consider a career in interior design. After graduating university and a few random jobs later (including selling postcards!), Jen pursued interior design and the rest, as they say, has become history!
Founder / Principal
Charyle is a fun-loving creative force and Founder, Principal and “Other Boss Lady” at Gannon Ross. Given Charyle’s sense of style and keen eye for design it might come as a surprise to know she is stuck in a boy band time warp and has been known to fly across the country to catch an N-Sync or Backstreet Boys concert. Her most important priority however, are her two boys and nothing makes her happier than spending time on the ski hill, at the beach or just being silly with them. And after a long day on the slopes, or bopping to boy bands, you might just find her indulging in another guilty pleasure … wine and chips!
Linda has travelled the world to hone her interior design skills, including living in London and working in hotel design procurement. Linda was voted at the office as most-wanted on a job site given that she was a registered nurse for 4 years before switching careers to become an accomplished interior designer. Although, she might not be first pick as a Karaoke partner unless you are a Disney fan, her go-to song is “A Whole New World” from Aladdin! Linda doesn’t shy away from trying new things having taught herself to swim after years of being afraid of the water and has most recently become a fan of opera, salsa dancing and nude life drawing (the subject being nude, not Linda!). Linda brings a talented and eclectic eye for design and a love of diversity to our team, which helps everyone overlook her shameless enjoyment of 90’s sitcoms (and Seinfeld quotes!).
Junior Interior Designer
Joanne is our linguistic expert which makes her an invaluable part of our team and has mastered 3 languages Tagalog, Chinese and English. Her love of languages also helps when she’s keeping up with her favorite hobby of cooking and experimenting with new recipes from around the world. Joanne is a passionate volunteer and she has been active with the Union Gospel Mission and helping those in need. Joanne is currently taking some time to pursue her greatest passion of all – being a new mom to baby Jason!
